The Madison County Food Bank is here to offer food assistance to individuals and families, while treating them with dignity and respect.
We are in need of the following items:
Cereal (any brand or type)
Easy Breakfast items (pop tarts, cereal bars, etc.)
Breakfast Foods (Jelly, PB&J, syrup, pancake mix)
Instant potatoes and gravy mix
Hygiene Products (soap, shampoo, toothpaste deodorant, etc.)
Cornbread Muffin Mix
*no glass containers please - as a safety precaution for the children*
You can donate to our Food Bank directly during their office hours or you may send monetary donations through the mail to P.O. Box 147 Danielsville, GA 30633.
Services Offered at our Food Bank
Need Assistance with Food: You must be a Resident of Madison County have a photo ID showing your Madison County Address.
Senior Critically Ill Program: Applicants must be over 65 years of age and having difficulty with the ability to afford your prescription medication and food expenses.
Christmas Program: We offer a Christmas program for the children of Madison County who are 12 years of age or younger. There are income guidelines that we must verify. Applications for assistance begin in October. Please see the 2024 Brochure for more information.

Qualifications for Assistance
Below are a list of a few of the requirement in order to take part in the services offered at our Food Bank.

You must have a Food Bank Referral form from a Church or an Agency on their letterhead.
You can use the Food Bank twice in a six(6) month period.
You will need to call the office to set up a time to apply for services with the Food Bank.

All Donations are appreciated; here are some suggestions when considering donating to our Food Bank.
Canned Vegetables
Canned Fruits (preferable 100% juice)
Canned or dried beans
Canned Meats
Dried Milks
Rice
Whole Grain
High Fiber Cereal
Oatmeal/grits
Cooking oil
Condiments
Personal hygiene items
