Zoning Applications 

Applications for the rezoning of property, for conditional uses, and for variances are accepted and reviewed by the Planning and Zoning Department, and are brought before the Planning and Zoning Commission and the Board of Commissioners for review and approval. The Planning and Zoning Department also reviews  preliminary and final plats for approval by the Planning and Zoning Commission and the Board of Commissioners. ATTENTION

PROPERTY IN TAX CONSERVATION (CUVA) PROGRAM

LAND SPLITS or CHANGES

If you have property in the CUVA program and are planning to make a change to your property that requires a new land survey (plat) to be done. Be sure to contact the Property Valuation Department to verify the change(s) you are making will not cause a breach in your contract. This department reviews and approves plats before they can be recorded, but this review is for zoning purposes only and not for CUVA requirements.
