A: The Madison County Government Complex is located at 91 Albany Avenue Danielsville, GA 30633. Hours are 8:00am - 5:00pm Monday-Friday. Q: Where do I obtain a drivers license?

A: Please visit the Department of Driver Services for information concerning Georgia Drivers Licenses.     The nearest Drivers License Office is located at1505 US 29 North Athens, Ga. 30601

Q: Does Madison County require a business license?

A: At this time Madison County does not offer a Business License. Please contact the Building Inspection Department to obtain a letter stating that a license is not offered by the County, 706-795-6346.

Q: How do I obtain an auto tag?

A: Auto tags may be purchased at the Tax Commissioner’s Office in the Government Complex in Danielsville, GA or online  through the Department of Motor Vehicles website.  You can find this information on the Ta Commissioner's page.

A: Property Taxes are paid in the Tax Commissioner’s Office in the Government Complex in Danielsville, GA. Please call 706-795- 6385 for more information.

A: At this time a burn permit is not required.  Please notify our 911 Dispatch department if you will be burning in case of an emergency. 706-795-2101
